English Program (EP)

Also known as EP, is a program designed to provide Prathom and Mathayom students with an academic environment of primary and secondary subjects. The EP Program primarily focuses on Math, Science and Grammar/Literature. Secondary subjects would include Social Studies, Health, Digital English and ICT. This program provides students with a complete English environment refining their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and applying these skills in real-world situations.

INTENSIVE COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM (ICEP)

Intensive/Communicative Program (ICEP)

Is designed for students at all levels of Prathom and Mathayom aiming to develop and improve their practical and academic English communication skills. ICEP is focused on speaking and listening, and students also spend time on grammar, reading, and writing. BFITS offers 3-hour ICEP which delivers the core curriculum and 5-hour ICEP with additional reading SRA and Language Arts. These programs provide students the opportunity to practice their skills with Native English Speaking teachers using western resources and technology for instruction.

EP teachers are Native English Speakers hired within Thailand or from overseas from recognized English speaking countries such as; UK, USA, NZ, Australia, Canada and South Africa. All teachers have a degree(s) relative to the subject matter they are teaching and are certified to Teach English as a Foreign Language.

-> Learning Environment


The EP classroom is an English-only environment which comes fully equipped with air conditioning, and LCD projector. All of our teachers are equipped with laptop computers, speakers and resources to maximize a student?s learning experience. Classrooms range from 25-35 students to maximize the student?s learning needs.

All the resources used in an EP classroom are from McGraw Hill Education. These resources are interactive and comprehensive. Students and teachers are provided with textbooks and workbooks, along with Powerpoint presentations that explain key concepts, videos and practical exercises/activities to further enhance the academic experience.


Intensive Communicative English Program (ICEP)

-> Teachers

ICEP teachers are Native English Speakers from UK, USA, NZ, Australia, Canada and South Africa. Our teachers are certified to Teach English as a Foreign Language. English-speaking facilitators model the language, help students gain exposure to new accents, and monitor their progress towards successful language production.

-> Learning Environment

The ICEP classroom is an English-only environment which comes fully equipped with air conditioning, LCD projector, speakers, desktop computer/laptop and internet access. Maximum class size is 30 students to ensure ample attention for each and every student?s learning needs.

  • Understanding of and capacity to interpret what has been heard and read from various types of media, and ability to express opinions with proper reasoning

  • Endowment with language communication skills for exchange of data and information; efficient expression of feelings and opinions

  • Ability to present data, information, concepts and views about various matters through speaking and writing

  • Appreciation of the relationship between language and culture of native speakers and capacity for use of language appropriate to occasions and places

  • Appreciation of similarities and differences between language and culture of native and Thai speakers, and capacity for accurate and appropriate use of language

All the chapters in our textbooks are delivered via corresponding BFITS PowerPoint lessons which are interactive and comprehensive (includes vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening). ICEP utilizes learning tools such as student books, workbooks, teacher?s guide books and SRA reading material from McGraw Hill.

Technology and innovative learning are key aspects of the ICEP learning strategy. Over the years, we have developed and collated worksheets, videos, activities, and PowerPoint games that correspond to our curriculum. These are readily available for both ICEP teachers and students.
